Cafe Outlook

Welcome to The Poetry Cafe!

Have you ever found yourself lingering in the realm of dreams as you wake up and engage in the hustle 'n' bustle of everyday life? Find your mind wandering to a world that's full of fantasy and all things that, outside of your subconscious, are seemingly unimaginable? If you'd like to share your fantasy domain and give insight to your dreams, hopes and ambitions, then this is surely the home for you.

This should be a place for fellow deviants to come and share their poetry, get feedback and tips as well as get your work noticed by other writers and poetry lovers!

If you would like feedback on a specific work, please feel free to message to asking for feedback. We would be more then happy to aid you in your writing in anyway possible.

So, For four years I've had this group, I never plan on not having this group. But needless to say running a group is a task itself at times especially when your desires are to actually sit and read the poetry coming into the group instead of always handling messages and being impersonal and just clicking accept/deny buttons behind the screens. I would appreciate the time to get personal with some of you and get to really giving you feedback, insight and critiques on your work. But.... Kelly and I 1. live in different states currently, two both have families of our own and both have children. We also both work and go to school on top of everything else in our lives and as much as much as I like to keep this group in the family "people I actually know in person and have been friends with" I seem to be out of people that are willing to take on a task of helping manage this group. So time to outsource, I'm going to be picky, because the last time I allowed someone to be a co-admin that I didn't know after about 6 months their account was deactivated and no word from them. I take this group to heart, I created it with a dream years ago never expecting it to get this much attention, and while it is ever growing I love it more and more that it has reached so many people and I hope it continues to do so.

Keep up the writing, and get photoshop crazy and make some amazing visual poetry!

Just wanted to drop a line and say hello to everyone! Have to start tackling that challenge now ;)

Good afternoon! I was wondering if any poets were wanting to team up with me for a poem/picture collaboration. Pretty much capturing the mood/theme of the poem in a picture that would serve as a backdrop :). Looking for some new inspiration and a chance for a good convo. Just for fun mind you! If anyone is interested just shout me a message.

Greetings & Salutations! I recently joined this group! I am a socially retarded, eccentric, reclusive, multi-disciplined artist, poet, writer & photographer.

Thank you for taking care of me!  Run

It's a personal challenge, believe me it sparks creativity when creativity is lost.

Am I able to submit a poem written in another language? I don't usually write in any other language than English, but I do have one and would like to submit it to some groups, but I don't make enough "other language" poems to join poetry groups of another language.
